What We Take: the full list

The short answer: almost everything non-hazardous. If two people can lift it we haul it — and for everything bolted down, we bring demolition tools. Not sure about an item? Text a photo to (833) 586-5863 — nine times out of ten the answer is yes, with a price attached.

🚫 What we can't take

Hazardous materials: chemicals, asbestos, gasoline and other fuels, propane tanks, and medical/biohazard waste. Have some? We'll point you to the right NYC or Long Island disposal program so nothing gets stranded — just ask.

🧊 Freon appliances

Fridges, freezers and A/C units go through certified freon recovery before recycling, as EPA rules require. Just tell us it's on the list.

🛌️ Mattresses — the NYC rule

NYC requires mattresses sealed in a plastic bag for disposal. We bring the bag and handle it, so you don't get the DSNY fine.

🎹 Pianos, safes & monsters

Heavy and awkward is our specialty — extra crew and equipment for pianos, safes, cast-iron tubs. Mention them when you text photos so we staff it right.

💚 Donations first

Usable furniture, clothing and goods go to local charities before anything else — 60–80% of every haul avoids the landfill. Donation receipts on request.

"Do you take…?" FAQs

What can't you take?
Hazardous materials: chemicals, asbestos, gasoline and other fuels, propane tanks, and medical/biohazard waste. For those we'll point you to the right NYC or Long Island disposal program so nothing gets stranded.
Do you take mattresses?
Yes — and we handle NYC's mattress-bagging rule (mattresses must be sealed in plastic for disposal) so you don't risk the DSNY fine.
Do you take refrigerators and A/C units?
Yes. Freon-containing appliances go through certified refrigerant recovery before recycling, per EPA rules. No extra steps needed on your end.
Do you take paint?
Yes — old paint cans are accepted for eco-disposal. Latex and oil-based are handled differently, so mention which when you book.
Do you take tires?
Yes, with a small per-tire disposal fee (that's what the recyclers charge us). Rims on or off, either way.
Do you take construction debris?
Yes — drywall, lumber, tile, concrete, fixtures, packaging. We're a demolition company, so job-site debris is home turf.
